Description:
In a traditional spoon carving class the student would learn about, wood selection, carving characteristics, preparing blanks, basic carving techniques, sharpening and traditional oil finishes which may used on the project. This class however is about the Love Spoon! The most romantic of carved items you can give to that special someone. So of course you’ll learn all that other stuff but you also learn about embellishing, and relief carving as you add romantic details to the spoon. These spoons make great gifts for that special someone in your life.
