Description:
The aim of this class is to introduce the student to linoleum block printing. Each student will design, carve and print 2 linoleum blocks. The class will start by preparing an image and transferring it onto the linoleum, then you will carve your design into the linoleum block. Please bring your own imagery if you have something specific in mind. The images should not be too complicated as time is limited. A selection of designs will be available if you don’t have something specific in mind. You will have an opportunity to prepare and experiment with a range of papers to print your design onto.
Tuition Notes:
A material of $25 payable to the instructor is required for this class.
